Ribbon Blender
- Introduction – Blenders & mixers are an important part of the bulk materials processing industry. Blending or mixing is the process of thoroughly combining different materials to achieve a homogeneous mixture with uniform distribution.
- Construction – It consists of a horizontally-mounted ‘U’-shaped trough containing a double helix blender bar and a longitudinal shaft of twin-bladed construction. The Blades can in more than two depending on the Product nature. The blades are designed in such a way to get the discharge at center. We maintain a very fine clearance between the blades & U-trough so as to discharge 99% of the batch volume.
- Working Principal – The inner and outer helical ribbons are pitched to move material axially, in opposing directions, and also radially. This combination promotes fast and thorough mixing.
- Application – Ribbon blenders are commonly used for blending dry powders, granules, pellets and other solid forms. Major industries are food, pharmaceutical, chemicals, fertilizer, animal feeds, plastics, cosmetics, pigments and insecticides industries.

Jacketed Ribbon Blender
- Introduction – With the demand of various process requirement by customers, the mixer is not only be used for powder mixing, but also for more and complicated applications such as drying for moisture of the product, cooling for heat product and reacting for chemical product. And hence the Jacketed Ribbon Blender’s developed.
- Construction – The whole construction is similar to Ribbon Blender except the Jacket. The additional Jacket is provided on the U-trough through which Hot water or the Chilled water can be supplied depending on the requirement.
- Working Principal – This work on the principal on Conduction. The temperature of the media is transferred to the product inside the blender.
- Application – Major industries are food, pharmaceutical, chemicals, fertilizer, animal feeds, plastics, cosmetics, pigments and insecticides industries.

Blender cum Roaster
- Introduction – The limitation of the Jacketed Ribbon Blender is overcome by the Roaster cum Blender. Here we can achieve the max. temp. of 250°C. The Products are roasted for removing moisture contents, which reduces bacterial growth and increases self-life of the Products. As the heating is carried out by indirect heating method which reduces the aroma loss.
- Construction – The whole construction is similar to Jacketed Ribbon Blender except the provision of Oil Immersed Heater. The Heater’s are provided on the Jackets for achieving the max. temperature of 250°C.
- Working Principal – In Spice Roaster Machine the heating is achieved through oil immersed Electrical heaters. The heating temperature is controlled through digital temperature controller which can be achieved up to 250 Deg. C.
- Application – The Roaster is used for roasting various types of Spices like Coriander (Dhania), Fenugreek seeds (Mrthi Dana), Fennel (Saunf), Bay leaf/Cinnamon leaf (Tej Patta), Cumin (Jeera), Sesame (Til) etc. Majorly used in Food Industries.
- Features –

- Specified temperature range can be set so for heating.
- Process is wholly controller through the Control Panel.
